There was a call for a large hand round knife, and this is it. I teamed up with Brian Warner, who initially asked me to make this knife and gave it the thumbs-up.
Combining Josh Fields’ French-style blade design with my more substantial handle profile results in a true bulldozer of a knife—built for double-X and larger hands. It’s also ideal for cutting heavy skirting and harness leather for those who want a secure feel and real strength behind a bigger handle. The blade features a distal taper from the hilt to the leading edge with a near-zero grind. The knife is constructed with a full-tang design and heirloom-fitted handle.
Handle Material: Dymalux Laminate Wood - Buckskin
Steel: 52100 high-carbon
Rockwell hardness: Ranging between 58-60 HRC
Blade length: 4-1/4” tip to tip
