We are eliminating some of the older model lap skivers. Same great design - the only difference is the thickness of the blade. This model has a thickness of .10 inches where the new models are .60 inches.
This angled lap skiver designed for thinning the edge of the leather. The angle of the blade is designed with the left-handed crafter in mind. The unique design on the handle is thinned on the underside allowing the blade to rest closer to the skiving surface, providing a left-handed low hold & right-handed high hold. The skiver has a full tang design with heirloom fitted handle scales.
